What to Expect for your Birthday at CMOSC

Time Frame

• Indoor Party – 2 hours in private party room

• Outdoor Party – 2.5 hours in private outdoor pavilion

• FULL DAY access to the entire museum for you and your guests

• Museum operating hours: 9am-4pm

Check-in & Check-out

• Hosts check-in at the Front Desk upon arrival

• Hosts check-out before departing the museum

• Guests, including those with museum memberships check-in as party guests at the Front Desk 

Guests

• Indoor – Up to 30 guests

• Outdoor – Up to 40 guests

• Hosts are responsible for guest overage fees; $12 per person

• Infants under 12 months will not be included towards the guest count

Party Timeline

• After check-in a birthday party assistant will greet you with a wagon, help you load your things, take you to the party venue at the start time of your party and assist you with setup.

• 15 minutes before the end time of your party a birthday party assistant will offer their help with cleanup and loading your items

• By the end time of your party all guests and items should be removed from the venue. You are welcome to enjoy the museum until closing time!

Play Pal

• The Play Pal Activity starts 15 – 20 minutes after the start of your party depending on the arrival of your guests

• The facilitation of the Activity can take up to 30 minutes depending on the amount and age of children

• After the Activity you are welcome to proceed with your own timeline (i.e., cake and food eating, present opening etc.) until your venue time limit is up.

Go Green!

• The rental of Go Green! Eco Goods includes plates, bowls, cups, utensils and napkins

• Go Green! can be added to your reservation up to 3 days before your party date

• The goods are setup for you in the party venue ahead of time, there will be plenty of service wear for all of your guests and we take care of the washing!

Gift Bags

• Gift Bags will be setup in the venue before your arrival.

• Each bag includes: a wooden whistle, magnifying glass, clay, mind puzzle, and more! 

• Gift Bags can be added to your reservations up to 3 days before your party.

• More bags can be added last minute on the day of your party if needed.

Mary’s Pizza Shack

• If you’ve ordered Mary’s Pizza Shack pizza through us at the time of your reservation, we handle the ordering, delivery and tip

• The pizza will arrive within 30 minutes of the start time of your party

• Plates, napkins and utensils will NOT be provided unless you’ve reserved the Go Green! Eco Goods add-on.

Dessert Ordering

• If you’ve ordered dessert through us at the time of your reservation, we handle the ordering, delivery and tip

• The dessert will arrive before the start time of your party

• Plates, napkins and utensils will NOT be provided unless you’ve reserved the Go Green! Eco Goods add-on.
