Afraid you might forget something? Print out this checklist to get you started on the items you’ll need to bring for your party!

• Birthday cake/cupcakes (unless ordered through CMOSC)

• Ice cream

• Candles

• Matches/lighter

• Snacks

• Drinks

• Goodie bags

• Serving platters, bowls

• Serving utensils

• Reusable or recyclable: cups, plates, utensils, napkins

• Table cloth

• Decorations

• Tote bags or tote boxes to transport presents and leftovers home

• Containers or plastic wrap/foil/ziplock bags to transport leftover food home

Go Green!

We encourage you to be environmentally friendly and consider the impact of what you bring into the Museum. Bringing recyclable or reusable materials and take home much of what you bring to avoid filling the garbage bin.

Or, better yet! Less waste, less fuss!  The Museum will provide a colorful assortment of reusable utensils, plates, tablecloths and compostable napkins for 30-40 people. $2 per person, more information here.

Please remember

• All food and decorations must remain inside the Dow Event Center at all times. (Please do not eat on the deck.)

• The following are prohibited on-site:

  • balloons

  • piñatas

  • glitter

  • confetti

  • nuts

  • glass bottles

  • alcohol

• You may be assessed an additional $100 non-compliance fee if you do not follow the above guidelines.
