Ape Action Africa - About
Wild gorillas and chimpanzees are on the brink of extinction. Habitat loss and poaching threaten these magnificent animals like never before. Ape Action Africa is committed to ape conservation in Africa - protecting Cameroon’s great apes through direct action, including rescuing orphaned gorillas, chimpanzees and monkeys, giving them a safe forest sanctuary home where they can live with their own kind.

About Science Speaker Series
The Children’s Museum of Sonoma County is excited to host S³ (Science Speaker Series) for young scientists. Join us the third Saturday of the month at 2 PM!
Children 6 and older, and their families, are invited to the Children's Museum every THIRD Saturday of the month at 2 PM. Community groups and scientists working in many exciting fields will be on hand to talk about their work and answer questions. Every month brings a new topic. Join us for fun afternoons of learning about topics like animal rescue and conservation, sea life, pollinators, and more!
- Seating is limited, please arrive early!
- No pre-registration required
- Our S³ program is included in the admission cost, or membership, to the Museum
- Because seating is limited and the talks are developed specifically for older children, we ask that all attendees are 6 years and older.
The Children's Museum of Sonoma County thanks the Farley Family Charitable Foundation for supporting this program with their generous grant.
