Tips for a Successful Party at the Museum
For party hosts wondering how to plan your birthday party at the Museum, here are a few tips we've gathered:
- 90 minutes might seem like a short amount of time for a birthday party, however, the birthday party package includes admission for your guests for the entire day. We suggest inviting your guests to come early for play time in the museum. Set a time for guests to meet in the room for check-in, food, activities and celebration. If your party is early in the day, have guests meet in the room, and invite them to stay late to play after
up to 40 people in the room (absolute maximum), and you are welcome to pay the $7 admission price for
- If you are having trouble narrowing your guest list to 30 people, please know that we allow
the 10 additional people.Decorations
- Less is more. We have found that the less set up there is, the less clean up there is. The room was designed to be a festive place to celebrate, keeping it simple with decorative plates and napkins works great!
- Crafts can be a great addition to any birthday party; making paper crowns, stamping or decorating goodie bags. There are so many simple and fun crafts to do with kids. We've included some links below for inspiration, but don't stop there!
