Baker's/Salt Dough

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • About 1 ½ cups water
  • Food coloring or liquid watercolor (optional)

Directions

  1. Start with 1 cup of water and mix into the dry ingredients. Add more if needed to reach a kneadable consistency.
  2. Make shapes using cookie cutters, templates, free-form molding
  3. Bake at 250° F for 20-30 minutes on unprepared cookie sheet

Hints:

Add coloring to the water before you mix it all together

Poke hole in shape before baking for hanging
