Camp Structure
Each camp has a 2:7 (at most) ratio of adults to children. Our workshops are facilitated by teachers, early childhood education professionals, and individuals with experience teaching camps.
Each camp day includes 2 snacks and Museum play and exploration.
Spring Wonder Camps
Monday, April 2: Garden Safari
Polish up your magnifying glass and take a peek at the wonderful world of insects at the Children’s Museum. Campers will explore the creatures that help make our garden great, and create some insect-inspired masterpieces to take home!
Tuesday, April 3: Messy Art
Let’s get messy! What can be better than your child making a mess that you don't have to clean up? In this workshop, we'll make prints, play with paint and create collaborative masterpieces.
Wednesday, April 4: Electric Science
It’s electric! In this workshop we’ll build scooter bots (these are robots using toothbrushes, wires and craft supplies), explore our circuit workbench, and learn how electricity works.
Thursday, April 5: Pop, Whiz, Bang!
Discover the world around you through hands on science. We’ll experiment with (safe) chemical reactions, launch rockets, explode Mentos, and make a liquid nitrogen ice cream treat!
Friday, April 6: Time Travel & Treasure Hunts
Is your child ready for an adventure? Campers will create their own time machine, practice digging for fossils, become a pirate and hunt for treasure!
