Recurring Event S.T.E.A.M. Room

S.T.E.A.M. Room

Meet us in the S.T.E.A.M. Room, adjacent to Ella's Art Studio, every weekend from 1:00pm – 3:00pm to enjoy and explore an experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math! Toys and materials will be available in this space for your child to engage with at their own pace. A CMOSC staff member will be there to provide expertise and an enhanced experience with the materials.

Recurring Event Mud Lab

Mud Lab

Mud is a wonderful medium for learning, and provides kids endless opportunities to build, create, imagine, and grow at their own pace! Mud play also sparks all types of sensory experiences and inspires a deeper connection to nature.
From mud painting and mud mosaics to exploring its viscosity, creating mud sculptures, and “cooking” with mud. Our Mud Lab program is messy fun for all ages!

Big Thinkers

A specially designed program to engage older children in experiences and experiments using scientific concepts. Children will be exploring physics, engineering, and art using scientific concepts and so much more!

Spanish Storytime with Guadalupe

Spanish Storytime with Guadalupe of Colors of Spanish is a weekly Spanish Language Story Time class that incorporates books/stories, music, movement, and fun! This program brings understanding, appreciation, and joy to another language and culture. This program is much more than a Storytime, it’s an engaging/sing-along/celebration of the Spanish language and culture!

Sewing machines and materials for hand stitching will be available for use during this facilitated program. Our Art Studio Specialist will be on hand to support your little learners as they explore the art of sewing. Materials and embellishments will be provided. Whether you and your child are new to sewing or experienced, this program is for you!

The Children’s Museum is Open Tuesday, November 22th, for regular hours 9am to 4pm, during the Holiday break.

The Museum will be CLOSED Thursday, November 24th for Thanksgiving.
