Sensory Friendly Afternoon
April 12 @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
The Children’s Museum of Sonoma County hosts free Sensory Friendly Afternoons exclusive to families of children with special needs. These Tuesday afternoons are great for children and families to play with hands-on exhibits, explore the Art Studio, and enjoy family time in a safe, accessible, and welcoming environment.
CMOSC staff goes through the Museum ahead of time to turn down lights, limit loud sounds and add extra signage to our exhibits to help create a safe and less stimulating environment.
We require pre-registration in an effort to better serve our visitors. Pre-registration enables us to communicate directly with families about expectations and updates.
*Universal masking requirements.
Our mask policy is as follows:
In our outdoor areas, masks are optional for everyone.
In our indoor areas, masks are not required for children two (2) years and younger. Everyone ages three (3) and up is asked to wear a mask unless they have a medical exemption.
