Julia Megna from the Sonoma Ecology Center will be here to guide us through some hands-on activities designed to introduce children to the science of nature and earth stewardship.

This special program is geared towards children ages 4-7.

How Do Flowers Make Seeds?
Children will dissect real flowers to extract seeds which they will be able to take home with them to plant.

Animal Adaptations & Habitats!
This demonstration will include real animal skulls and visuals of what their habitats look like, along with an animal footprint stamping activity.

The Sonoma Ecology Center works to address challenges related to water supply and quality, open space, rural character, biodiversity, energy, climate change, and a better quality of life for all residents.
