Sponsor Children’s Museum Exhibits and Spaces

The Children’s Museum provides innovative exhibits and programs focused on STEM, nature, art, and emerging literacy. Since opening its physical doors in 2014, the Children’s Museum has served over 650,000 visitors and thousands more through community events and outreach. 

Sponsorships can be made for one year or up to three years. Tile column sponsorships are in perpetuity.

Children of all ages delight in hearing stories read to them while sitting atop this giant, soft, stuffed green and black caterpillar. Completely new vinyl will replace the old, worn material that has cracked and split due to age and weather. The addition of a “Caterpillar Cottage” and insect lifecycle displays nearby will add to this already charming exhibit. Sponsor this beloved outdoor exhibit for three (3) years and your name, business logo, and/or quote will be engraved on a brass plaque near the caterpillar. Your gift inspires literacy and reading.    

Giant, modular blue blocks are designed to encourage child-directed free play and critical thinking skills as they construct Rube Goldberg contraptions or forts. These blocks provide endless opportunities for innovation and invention. Sponsor a new set of Imagination Blue Blocks for three (3) years and provide even more opportunities for children to engage and construct. Your name, business logo, and/or quote will be engraved on a brass plaque near the exhibit. Your gift supports the next generation of builders. 

This beloved outdoor exhibit is literally in tatters from being loved by thousands of children who adore climbing inside and then pretending to emerge as a beautiful butterfly. Help return it to its original splendor and inspire young minds in the process. Sponsor the immersive Butterfly Chrysalis in the outdoor Butterfly Lifecycle exhibit for three (3) years. Your name and/or quote will be engraved on a brass plaque near the exhibit. Your gift supports transformative experiences.

Climb into this treehouse and view the model trains chugging along from the catbird seat of a giant bird’s nest. Pick some apples from a basket hoisted up from below and drop them into a secret shoot nearby. Climb down through a maze to the base of the tree and watch as apples emerge from various holes in the tree trunk. Sponsor this unique, Sonoma County inspired exhibit for the next three (3) years and play a key role in the design of enhancements for thousands of children to enjoy. Your name, business logo, and/or quote will be engraved on a brass plaque near the exhibit. Your gift supports creativity and play. 

Children delight in taking their own pictures and then seeing the image magically appear on a wall of photos in this enchanting exhibit. Help expand this exhibit by making six additional picture frames available for viewing captured images. A new doll house will replace the worn one, and new shadow boxes reminiscent of the popular “I Spy” books will be included. Intricate tableaus composed of antiques, toys, trinkets, and artifacts provide a visual feast for curious minds to devour. Sponsor the Victorian House Exhibit for three (3) years and your name, business logo, and/or quote will be engraved on a brass plaque near the exhibit. Your gift supports the next generation of photographers, artists, and performers.

Sponsor in perpetuity this 13-inch square Cabinet of Curiosities that has been lovingly created by the talented artist Laura McGinnis. Fall into a miniature world inside a French cottage kitchen complete with glowing fireplace mantle, hutch filled with jars full of herbs and spices, and table with chocolate chip cookies waiting to be eaten. This work of art will be installed in the Victorian House exhibit with your name on it. You will also have the opportunity to meet in person with the artist to hear how the cabinet was made. Your gift will inspire imagination and love of art.
