At the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County, we are committed to ensuring that all families have the opportunity to experience, learn, and grow in the areas of science, art, and the natural world. We aim to inspire curiosity and creativity in all children through joyful, transformative experiences. This is critical for early childhood development and the personal health and well-being of each child. Make a difference and donate towards our Access for All initiative to ensure all children have access to this important resource.
Discounted Admission at the Children’s Museum
As part of the Institute of Museum and Library Services’ Museums for All initiative, the Children’s Museum provides discounted admission to 350+ visitors per month who are receiving CalFRESH/EBT assistance.
The Access Membership program is designed to serve families receiving assistance, who are not able to afford the annual cost of membership. In 2019, the Museum distributed more than 300 reduced-cost memberships to qualifying families. With the generous support of Access sponsors, more children will discover, learn and explore together – building strong families and a stronger community.
Access for School Kids
The Access for School Kids (ASK) program makes it possible for students of all different socio-economic backgrounds from all over Sonoma County and as well as neighboring counties to take advantage of the Children’s Museum’s enriching, science-based learning opportunities. Generous donations to ASK helped fund the costs for more than 2100 students to visit the Museum at a reduced rate in 2019.
