Mechanical Waterways 2.0

♥ Mechanical Waterways 2.0 was made possible by generous gifts from: Sally Krahn Estate, Manitou Fund, Jeanne and Bill Osterland, and the William G. Irwin Charity Foundation.

Did you know that playing with water supports every phase of learning and development in children?

Water play fosters social interactions, enhances problem-solving skills, develops eye-hand coordination, exercises creativity, and allows children to experiment freely. While interacting with the Mechanical Waterways’ many play stations, children are encouraged to explore and experience scientific concepts and mathematical principles. As they play with water, our little scientists are gaining skills and an understanding of this important natural resource.

Be prepared to get wet! Water smocks are available at play area.
