We encourage carpooling; parking in the Children’s Museum’s lot is limited. If our parking lot is full, please find parking on West Steele Lane, Hardies Lane, or Range Ave.
Dino Trax is a prehistoric adventure filled with hands-on fun! Dig for fossils as a Little Paleontologist, compare your feet to a T-Rex footprint, watch dinosaurs take over the model train displays, and get creative with fossil imprints and dino art. Experience live reptilian relatives at Living Dinosaurs, explore a dino medical lab, erupt volcanoes in the Mud Lab, and uncover surprises around every corner. Don’t miss this Jurassic-sized day of discovery at the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County!
Along with this, enjoy a fun and educational day for your train-loving children! Build your own Brio train in our DIY train exhibit, ride on a Live Steamers miniature train, and get up close to unique and elaborate model train displays courtesy of the Redwood Empire Garden Railway Society and Coastal Valley Lines.
We always have healthy snacks in our gift corner. Additionally, we are finalizing food vendors for this event. Outside food and drink are allowed at designated picnic areas.
