Experiencing a Children's Museum is the right of every child, and becoming a member is a great start to support our work.
However, did you know we subsidize every admission and membership by 40% to keep access affordable for many families? With admission cost and membership dues only accounting for 60% of the Museum’s revenue budget, the Children’s Museum fundraises to support staff, programming and outreach. We count on the generosity of the community to support our mission and help us ensure that ever child in Sonoma County gets to experience a Children's Museum!

Help CMOSC reach even greater heights by making a generous gift to the Annual Fund. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s 100% tax-deductible! Make your gift today by giving extra with your annual membership payment, giving in response to an appeal, establishing monthly or quarterly recurring contributions, making a gift in stock, or donating online.
Circle of Innovation
Play a leadership role at CMOSC by joining the Circle of Innovation—the Museum's premier category of individual giving. The Circle is designed for gifts of $1,000 and above and offers unique benefits, which CMOSC reserves for its most committed friends. You can join by making an annual gift of $1,000 or greater, or by establishing a monthly or quarterly recurring gift for as little as $84 per month!
Many companies match $1 for $1, or even $2 for $1, for the gifts that employees make to nonprofit organizations. Some even give financial donations to match volunteer time by employees. Ask your human resource department for the matching gift policy of your place of employment, then submit their required paperwork along with your donation to make your gift stretch even further.
Planned gifts are a mutual blessing; they help to sustain the Children's Museum's progress as well as your near-term financial and estate-planning goals. Depending on the gift vehicle you choose, your donation could yield a tax deduction and provide an income stream to you, designated family members or heirs. There are many planned giving options, including bequests, charitable gift annuities, and charitable remainder or lead trusts. Just as with annual gifts to CMOSC, planned giving may be funded with various assets such as cash, securities, or real estate.
We encourage you to consult with your financial, legal, and tax advisors as you consider donation opportunities. You can review some sample bequest language as you establish your plans, and a Bequest Notification Form is available for your use. Please call CMOSC's Development Manager to discuss which giving vehicles might best complement your goals. Thank you for considering including the Children's Museum of Sonoma County in your estate plans so that we may continue sharing the power of play with generations to come.
