Choo-Choo! All Aboard the Children’s Museum Express! Next Stop – TRAIN DAYS!

Join us on July 22nd & 23rd from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm for our Great Train Days Weekend!

Come view model trains and meet our neighborhood train experts including Redwood Empire Garden Railway Society, Coastal Valley Lines, and even more!

Your little conductor can build their own train tracks, dance to train music, and take a ride on the Live Steamers train!

*No Member Mornings on Sunday

About The Great Train Days

Enjoy a fun and educational day for your train-loving children! Build your own Brio train in our DIY train exhibit, ride on a miniature train*, and get up close to unique and elaborate model train displays courtesy of the Redwood Empire Garden Railway Society and Coastal Valley Lines. There will also be an interactive train display showcased by The Diablo Pacific Short Line. (*Additional fees may apply).

If you love trains, then you won’t want to miss this very special event.

Parking

We encourage carpooling; parking in the Children’s Museum’s lot is limited. If our parking lot is full, please find parking on West Steele Lane, Hardies Lane, or Range Ave.

What are the hours of Train Days?

Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

What is the cost to attend Train Days?

You can attend Train Days with your museum admission of $16 per person (discounts available). There will be additional fees for concessions.

Will I need my membership card or ID?

We will have a separate member check-in desk at the entrance to the museum, please bring your membership card with you to ensure faster check-in. If you bring guests with you, not covered by your membership, you will need to pay for them through the main entrance.

If your parking lot is full, where can I park?
