Museum Closure

CMOSC Closed
Beginning March 13, 2020

At CMOSC, the safety of our visitors and staff is our top priority. Based on the recommendation of the California Department of Public Health responding to the COVID-19 situation, CMOSC will be closed March 13 until March 31, 2020. This was a difficult decision to make; we understand the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County is an important resource to children and families in the community.

The decision to close the museum was based solely on the Health Department’s recommendation, and we are not aware of any guest or staff member who has been exposed to COVID-19. As this is a rapidly changing situation, we will update the website as we gather information.

We invite you to use CMOSC’s website as a family resource; we will share information, safety practices, and fun suggestions for home play on the website.

You and your family’s well-being is of the utmost importance, and we look forward to seeing you back at CMOSC when we reopen.
