Construction Update

Final construction drawings for the new wing will be submitted to the City of Santa Rosa in mid-May in order to facilitate a planned groundbreaking on August 28, 2026!

Exhibit fabrication has already begun, and plans are in place to move the public entrance to the Museum to the Mary’s Garden side of the current building to allow for safe demolition and construction efforts. The Museum team is currently preparing to move our administrative offices in early August into an on-site trailer for the duration of construction.

Currently, construction and exhibit fabrication are anticipated to take 18 months, with a target of opening the new wing to the public in Spring 2028.

Closing the Campaign–Share Our Bold Vision!
